Workers’ Compensation

Daniel Sagiv Law Group can help injured workers in the State of Florida navigate the complex workers compensation insurance claim process. Workplace injuries can occur as a result of a slip and fall, a flying object, a fall from an elevated platform or roof, an exacerbation of a prior injury or weakened area, an unsafe or unclean work environment, or any other serious accident. Work related injuries can be severe, and may result in life-changing, permanent disability, or even death. Common injuries that plague workers, and lead to workers compensation claims, can include carpel tunnel syndrome, neck injuries, traumatic brain injury, hip injury, and shoulder or rotator cuff injury.

UNDER FLORIDA LAW, WORKERS COMPENSATION BENEFITS MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Medical care, including visits to different specialists for treatment, medical tests, physical therapy, prescription drugs, and hospital and emergency room visits.

  • Temporary partial disability or temporary permanent disability benefits

  • Impairment benefits

  • Death benefits

Injured workers in Florida may be eligible for up to 104 weeks of temporary partial disability benefits. If a doctor verifies that an injured worker is permanently unable to work, the injured worker may be eligible for permanent disability benefits.

While an injured worker is entitled to be covered for medical expenses and lost wages, insurance companies and employers can delay the processing of workers compensation claims, or even deny them entirely.

Daniel Sagiv Law Group has the experience to get you the benefits that you are entitled to. Let us fight on your behalf, so that you can focus on your recovery.
